MDM Honduras works with local, community-based leadership to improve and transform life for the people living in the San Matías area of Honduras
Our mission
MDM Honduras’ primary mission is to transform lives of children, families and even communities in a rural region of Honduras, known as San Matías.
To achieve that, MDM provides scholarships to children of all ages, health services, means to purify water and to perform home improvements. MDM also provides spiritual support and teachings, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every opportunity we have.
Who we serve
MDM Honduras focuses on supporting the underserved communities surrounding San Matías, Honduras. This is an area with limited access to resources and opportunities.
Through partnerships with individuals, churches, and organizations in the United States, we are able to reach hundreds of students, their families, and communities every year, creating pathways to educational success, economic stability, and improved quality of life.
Our programs
Education
The Mountain of Blessings Sponsorship/Afterschool Program provides means for children and at-risk youth to overcome financial and academic barriers to their formal education.
Community Health
Contribution to families health through medical and dental care, nutritional baskets, and clean water.
Economic Development
Our goal is to identify local entrepreneurs, develop marketable goods, establish co-ops, and find market and sales outlets for these goods
Spiritual Growth
The Bible study and Discipleship programs are key to bringing even more spiritual growth to our volunteers, students and families.

MDM Honduras is an organization made up of followers of Jesus. We are passionate about establishing God’s Kingdom on earth, preaching the gospel, and supporting the needy with goods and prayer.
