New Chapter in Belma’s Story

A couple of years ago, we shared the story of a former MDM Honduras’ sponsored student, a teacher who became a volunteer, tutoring students, and training mothers in studying and teaching practical techniques to help their children. Belma‘s story.

Today we share with immense joy the new chapter in Belma’s journey. She is always eager to contribute her knowledge and experience in education with more people in the community, but now as a graduate in Pedagogy, a degree obtained last September at the National University of Honduras (UNAH).

At MDM Honduras we are grateful to be part of Belma’s success, and how she has demonstrated that an educational path is a transformative one. We pray for more blessings to come to her and her children, so that they can fully experience transformation in their spirits and lives.

As of 2023, an additional 45 students from our Sponsorship Program travel daily to Tegucigalpa for their classes, with the goal of achieving a brighter future. For most of them, reaching high school and pursuing a college degree, like Belma did, would have been impossible without MDM Honduras’ educational program.
