The 2025 School Year is Underway!
A new school year has begun, and with it comes renewed hope and expanded opportunities for the students in our educational program. At MDM Honduras, we believe that education is a powerful tool for transformation, and thanks to our incredible sponsors and partners, we’re starting 2025 strong!
A New Roof for Recizapa’s School
One of the biggest highlights of this year’s preparations was the installation of a brand-new roof at Recizapa’s school. This much-needed improvement ensures a safer, more comfortable learning environment for students, protecting them from the elements —and, of course, free of bats!
It was amazing to see how the community came together to work on this project. They even painted the school! Seeing the school ready to welcome students under a secure roof is a testament to what God can do and His blessings over the mountain.

School Supplies for 229 Students
We can agree that starting the school year with the right materials is essential for success. This year, we distributed school supplies to the 178 students in our program, ensuring they have uniforms, notebooks, pencils, backpacks, and other essentials to support their learning.
Additionally, we provided 51 extra supply packages to help even more families in the community—because every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow with the right tools in hand.

New English Classes at the Main Campus
This year, we’re thrilled to introduce **English classes for 2nd to 12th graders** at our main campus! Learning English opens doors for students, giving them access to greater educational resources and better career opportunities in the future.
By equipping them with language skills early on, we are investing in their ability to connect with our mission teams, build confidence, and dream even bigger!
