Housing and Roof Replacement Project

Improve safety and living conditions of twelve families in extreme poverty.

The Need is Urgent

In San Matías, Honduras—a rural region just outside the capital city—many families live in homes made of scrap materials, with roofs that barely withstand the elements. Others, have no place to live at all. Years of poverty and hardship have forced them to prioritize food and survival over home improvements and repairs.

  • 90% of families live on less than $300 per month
  • 25% of homes shelter 6 to 12 people
  • Roofs are deteriorated from smoke, heat, and age—posing daily fire risks

It’s not about comfort, it’s about their safety.
